On Monday, stop by 101 Ho Science Center at 7 p.m. for a Native American Studies lecture by Dennis Banks.
An Anishinaabe born on Leech Lake Indian Reservation in northern Minnesota, Banks has been a leader of indigenous civil rights since 1968, when he co-founded the American Indian Movement (AIM) in an effort to address civil rights violations of native peoples by law enforcement, government agencies, and organized religions.

On Tuesday, join University Church and other religious life communities in celebrating the history of Fat Tuesday, Mardi Gras, and the season of Lent with the annual Mardi Gras Dinner and Dance.
This event aims to bring together the 49ͼ¿â and village of Hamilton communities in celebrating and learning about Mardi Gras.
Be sure to your tickets and come by the Hall of Presidents at 6 p.m. for food catered by Michael’s, music by a live student jazz band, and a night of friends and dance.
